We believe beauty service is no different than health care service. While working in nail salons to put myself through dental school, I thought to myself there has to be a better way. Clients don't want to be overwhelmed with toxic smells, and materials, and uncleanliness, all while waiting in a boring atmosphere. 

We pride ourselves by utilizing the highest quality ingredients and providing world-class services that encompass an elevated, honest and non-toxic experience throughout every facet of nail care, waxing and lashes.

Growing up in a 3rd world country was difficult, but when I look back on those struggles, I realize that those are the things that made me who I am today. Supporting women in my business to become leaders and supporting women in the community is my way of saying thank you to Charlotte for giving me my freedom and the ability to follow my dreams.

                                                                      We believe beauty service is no different than health care service. 
 
Equipment:
-Ventilation: First and one of a only few salons in North Carolina with world-class ventilation at each and every station that produces fresh air into clients’ personal space rather than circulating the existing air in the salon. 
-Sanitization: Constant and consistent sanitation with hospital-grade disinfectant along with use of UV-C light sterilization wands.
-Clean Lab: Mimosas existing “Clean Lab” sterilization standards will continue and will be increased. The Mimosas team will continue to monitor information available regarding COVID-19 and will increase safety precautions accordingly. 
-Plexiglass: Plexiglass barriers will be in place between clients and technicians allowing a “hands-on” experience while still promoting safety. 
-Secure Contactless Bill Pay: Payment for services completed via contactless credit card readers.
-Digital Menus: Clients can scan QR codes to view service menus on their cell phones to further minimize touch points in the salon. 
 
Clients:
-Wellness Survey: All clients will be required to fill out our quick safety survey to ensure they don’t have any COVID-19 symptoms. They will receive this survey in a text message before their scheduled visit. They can also scan the QR code provided to fill out the short questionnaire on their personal devices.  Survey is available here: https://forms.gle/bUr1mpV7N4nk7CY47. All information provided will be treated as confidential.  
-Temperature Check: Mimosas will administer a contactless temperature screen to ensure clients permitted in the salon do not have a fever.
-Protection: All clients will be required to wear masks. If clients arrive without a mask, they will be required to purchase one on-site prior to admission to the salon.  
-Cups: Mimosas will continue to serve our amazing complimentary drinks. Bring your own cups so we can further public safety.
-Appointments recommended: Walk-in's available if slot is open. Please call us when you arrive (704-750-9668). Clients will be required to stay in their vehicles while awaiting a text to permit entry into the salon.  If walking, taking public transportation, etc. to the salon, clients will be asked to properly distance themselves when waiting outside of the salon. 
-Social distancing: Clients will be distanced according to the CDC’s guidelines unless they live within the same household.
-Wash Hands: Clients will be required to wash hands upon entry.  
 
Employees:
-Wellness Survey: All employees will be required to fill out the wellness survey daily to ensure they don’t have any symptoms before being permitted to work. All information provided will be treated as confidential.  
-Temperature Check: Mimosas will administer a contactless temperature screen to ensure employees permitted in the salon do not have a fever.
-Protection: Employees must wear masks and gloves while in the salon at all times.
